Winston-Salem Piano Teachers' Association

Serving our community since 1952

Since 1952, the Winston-Salem Piano Teachers’ Association has been actively serving the piano teachers and students in Winston-Salem and the surrounding area. The benefits to individuals and the community have been countless, and the years have seen many wonderful student and teacher successes.
United in the common goal of excellence in teaching, our purpose remains:

  • To promote and maintain the highest standards of the piano teaching profession
  • To provide an organization in which qualified teachers come together for their benefit and that of their students
  • To provide musical opportunities for the WSPTA member teachers and their students
  • To benefit the region’s art community through unique musical activities
